CLAY COUNTY — Public input is sought by Clay County Parks and Historic Sites as part of the parks master planning process. An public meeting will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 16, at Paradise Pointe Golf Complex, located at 18212 Golf Course Road in Smithville.

During the open house-style meeting, the public will have a chance to learn about ongoing and future projects and provide input on the park system's future.

"Information and staff will be on hand to discuss topics that include the nature center, trails, equestrian trails, historic sites, camping, marinas, tourism, recreation, public safety, shooting sports, golf courses and the overall master plan for the future of our parks and historic sites," states a county release.
