KEARNEY — The chamber of commerce's annual bull ride will return to Kearney's Jesse James Park starting with children's mutton busting at 6:30 p.m. followed by the bull ride at 7 p.m. Friday, July 26, at 3001 N. Missouri Highway 33.
A second day of riding fun will take place Saturday, July 27. The show is produced by Amped Up Productions.
In addition to mutton busting and the professional bull ride, this year's event includes a mini bull ride. These rides will take place throughout the show by Amped Up's 9- to 12-year-old cowboys.
A meet and greet will also take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 26, at Orscheln Farm & Home, 901 W. Missouri Highway 92. The event is a chance for the community to meet the professional riders from the bull ride.
Tickets are $12 per adult, $8 for children age 5 to 12 and free for those under age 4. Part of the proceeds benefits Kearney School District's Future Farmers of America.
