Smithville hosts photo contest, "What does Smithville mean to you?"

SMITHVILLE — The city of Smithville is holding a “What does Smithville mean to you?” photography contest for photographers of all ages and skill levels.

Participants are asked to submit their best shots of the city, whether those be of parks, events, local business, people in the community having fun or whatever else residents see around town.

Winners will receive gift cards. First place will receive a $100 card, second a $50 card and third a $25 card.

Photos need to be submitted by July 12. For more information, including contest rules, visit the city website, smithvillemo.org, and select Photo Contest 2019 from the “Community” drop down tab on the front page.
