CLAY COUNTY — A wreck Friday, March 15, resulted in injuries to two men.

The wreck, according to a highway patrol crash report, occurred during morning commuting hours around 7:40 a.m. at the intersection of Missouri Highway 92 and Francis Road. The wreck occurred when Brian E. Glaser, 76, of Kansas City, driving a 1998 Ford F-150 truck southbound, attempted to cross Highway 92 in the path of a 2002 Dodge Ram truck driven westbound by Chad B. Kennedy, 47, of Turney.

According to the crash report, the Dodge driven by Kennedy overtook the Ford truck on the driver side, causing both vehicles to leave the roadway.

Kennedy suffered moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to Liberty Hospital in Liberty for treatment. Glaser, who it is unclear if he wore a seat belt, suffered serious injuries. He was also taken by ambulance to Liberty Hospital for treatment.
