KANSAS CITY — Senior Star at Wexford Place will host neurologist Dr. Stanley Fisher for an informative talk on dementia geared for caregivers at 3 p.m. Thursday, April 4, at 6500 N. Cosby Ave.

 This free community event, Losing Yourself: A Caregiver’s Guide to Dementia, will be presented by Fisher, co-director of Saint Luke’s Marion Bloch Neuroscience Institute in Kansas City.

Fisher frequently speaks to patient support groups around the country to educate and encourage people with chronic neurodegenerative diseases as well as their caregivers.  

Light refreshments will be served. Space is limited, and RSVPs are required by calling 587-5700.
