Gladstone voters will have a small ballot to vote on Tuesday April 2.

Incumbent Bill Garnos refiled to retain his seat. He was the only one to file, however, the ballot will include a candidate write-in option.

The other Gladstone-specific ballot initiative is Question 1, a half-cent general sales tax increase aimed to improve police and fire facilities, maintain public services and recruit and retain public safety personnel.

Voters in the North Kansas City School District, including Gladstone, will vote for two seats for the school board. Dincer Guler, an associate professor of mathematics at Park University, is seeking one of the two seats on the North Kansas City Schools board. Incumbents Terry Ward and Judy Wartick are also seeking to retain their seats.
