LIBERTY — The Missouri Department of Transportation will intermittently reduce northbound and southbound Interstate 35 at Missouri Highway 152 to one lane from 7:30 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. nightly now through Saturday, June 15, as Miles Excavating begins setting bridge girders.

Rolling stops will also be implemented to deliver girders to the work site. Motorists should expect delays and plan for alternate routes. All work is weather dependent.

Work is part of a project to replace the Highway 152 bridge over I-35 and to make improvements to Kansas Street and Missouri Highway 291.

The project is expected to be completed in 2020.
