LIBERTY — Rebuilding Together Kansas City will meet with crew leaders to select houses for the annual work event at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 18, at Second Baptist Church, 300 E. Kansas St., Liberty.
While some crew chiefs can view houses early, no one is allowed to receive contact from the house owner, said Executive Director Clay McQuerry, in a press release.
At the meeting, there will be houses to choose from or crew chiefs can draw numbers to determine what order the houses are picked. If crew members know someone in need of our assistance, they should let the staff of Rebuilding Together Kansas City know as soon as possible.
For those planning to attend or business leaders who want to be involved should email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 781-8985.
Crew leaders will make home visits from July 25 to Aug. 15. Project estimates are due by Aug. 20.
The second crew leaders meeting is Aug. 22, also at Second Baptist Church.
Rebuilding Together Kansas City Day 2019 is Saturday, Sept. 14. Teams will meet at 8 a.m. at the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church gymnasium, 1600 N. Missouri Highway 291, Liberty.
