Agnes Ann Liddle Davis, Grandma Aggie, passed away Sunday, April 28 at Westbrook Care Center. She was one of six children to Walter E. and Victoria Liddle. She was their only daughter.

On May 11, 1947 she married Kenneth J Davis. They lived in Independence, MO until moving to a farm in Kearney in 1956. They had 6 children; Vic (Debbie), Pam (Danny), Scott (Marsha), Jinx (Dean), Bobbie (Brad) and Kevin.

Aggie was a homemaker for many years, worked at several different jobs until 1972 when she began a 20-year career selling real estate. She retired in 1992 to spend more time with her family, volunteering at the First Christian Church of Kearney and relaxing at her Truman Lake home.

The past several years she has kept busy with her community involvement, including starting a Senior Citizens Dance Club in Kearney.

She has enjoyed living in the Westbrook Community Center for the past 2 ½ years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, all five brothers, Vic, Bub, Jack, Pete and Dody, her son Vic, two grandsons, Tony & Josh and a great granddaughter, Emmalee Ann.

She is survived by 5 children and their spouses, 34 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and “adopted” family.

Visitation will be held 6-8:30pm, Thursday, May 2 at the First Christian Church of Kearney. Funeral service 10am, Friday, May 3, 2019 also at the church followed by burial at Fairview Cemetery, Kearney, MO. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Just for Fun c/o Citizens Bank, Kearney Optimists or your favorite children's organization or charity. Grandma Aggie always loved the kids’ activities.
