Christina Slipke, a junior and classics and economics double major from Kearney, was among 31 students inducted into the Delta Missouri Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa at Truman State University.

Slipke is the daughter of Jeff and Rachel Slipke of Kearney.

Phi Beta Kappa is the nation's oldest undergraduate academic honor society in liberal arts and sciences. It was founded in 1776 at the College of William and Mary. Current chapters exist at 286 institutions of higher learning.
