If there's going to be another Liberty-Liberty North football game this season, it will be for a district championship.

The local high school teams have fallen on the opposite sides of the Class 5 District 8 bracket. Liberty has finished in the No. 2 spot, while North landed at No. 4.

State-ranked Staley earned the No. 1 seed and home-field advantage throughout district play. Look for a full district preview in this week's print edition of the Liberty Tribune.
