Smithville Warriors Football faced off at Truman High School against the 0-2 Truman Patriots on Friday, Sept. 6. The team took a commanding 45-0 win in their first recorded game against the Patriots. This takes the Warriors to 2-0 on the season.

Kearney football improved their record to 2-0 on the season after walking away with a 45-8 win over Grandview Friday, Sept. 6. Senior running back Tristan Williams led the Bulldogs to their victory, with four of the team’s five touchdowns.

LIBERTY — A crowd formed around the southwest corner of the Liberty Hospital Activity Complex. Emotions poured out of players and fans alike with cheers, tears and hugs.
