National Council on Aging Aging Mastery Program

LIBERTY — Second Baptist Church of Liberty, 300 E. Kansas St., hosts 12 weeks of the National Council on Aging’s Aging Mastery Program each Tuesday from 10 to 11:30 a.m. starting Jan. 14.

Class size is limited to less than 30. Offerings will include two sessions for caregivers.

Aging Mastery Program is designed to inform, encourage and support older adults as they take steps to improve their lives and engage with their communities.

Topics in the 12-week workshop include: making healthy food choices, increasing physical activity and exercise safely, navigate longer lives and communicate effectively with the health team.

There will be a graduation program on April 7.
