Honoring our own

For his efforts in historical preservation of Clay County, John Dillingham, center holding frame, is honored Monday, Feb. 10, with a courtesy resolution from Clay County Commissioners Luann Ridgeway, Gene Owen and Jerry Nolte. Dillingham served as chair of the historical millennium board from its creation in 2000 until his retirement in December of 2019. Nolte said Dillingham is a "great example" of what makes the Northland great. Ridgeway gave a "tremendous" thanks to Dillingham for his honorable and fruitful efforts in preserving local history. Owen, who has had a long history with the Dillingham family, dating back to the 1970s, said Dillingham's father would be proud of the work he has done on behalf of the county.
