SMITHVILLE — Six Boy Scouts achieved the rank of Eagle Scout and received their Eagle Court Honor at Smithville First Christian Church this month. Those honored were: Conor Littleton, Martin Still, Noah Riecker, Nathan Fletcher, Jacob Wornson and Cole French.

To achieve this rank, the scouts were required to be active in their troop for at least six months, demonstrate scout spirit, earn 21 merit badges, serve actively as a Life Scout, demonstrate leadership in creating and completing a major project, participate in the Scoutmaster conference and complete a board review.

During a reception, each of the Eagle Scouts were presented with resolutions by Smithville Mayor Damien Boley, also an Eagle Scout, for their efforts and hard work.
