Wreaths Across America fundraiser Saturday

SMITHVILLE — The committee aimed at raising funds for Wreaths Across America in Liberty is planning its first golf tournament, a scramble Saturday, Oct. 12. Wreaths Across America honors local veterans buried in Liberty cemeteries with wreaths in mid-December.

Registration begins at 8 a.m. followed by a shotgun start at 9 a.m. at Paradise Pointe Golf Complex, 18212 Golf Course Road at Smithville Lake.
