SMITHVILLE — Nightmares Alive will spook Smithville locals in an outdoor haunted house experience from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19 and again Wednesday, Oct. 30.

Located at 15515 Mt. Olivet Road, Smithville High School swim team has pulled together an outdoor spooktacular with fog-filled tents, creepy characters and scares, a press release states.

Although this it is described to be appropriate for all ages, sponsor Laura Noll said it really depends on the children as it is meant to be scary.

Concessions will be available including caramel apples, caramel corn, hot chocolate and hot cider. Donations will be collected as the entrance fee and all proceeds benefit the boys swim team and Ronald McDonald House.
