Smithville think-tank reconvene scheduled for September 18

About 100 people joined together at Smithville High School for the first Think Tank session, held June 8. The effort will reconvene Sept. 18.

SMITHVILLE — Having pooled input from community members in a number of different ways, FutureIQ will reconvene the Smithville Think Tank from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18, at Smithville High School, 645 S. Commercial Ave. All community members are invited to participate.

"This is an essential step in the development of the strategic plan," Assistant City Administrator Nicki Lee said.

Those wishing to attend must register by Tuesday, Sept. 10. To register, visit lab.future-iq.com/city-of-smithville/. Those who are unable to attend, can fill out the community survey on the webpage. The survey will remain open through September. Results of the original Think Tank can be viewed on the site in addition to an agenda for the upcoming event and a data visualization tool.
