LIBERTY — The Liberty Community Christmas Tree program provides food and gifts to families in the Liberty area who need assistance during the holiday season.

According to Community Services Manager Hailey Kellerstrass, there are collection boxes at each Liberty School District school; Liberty City Hall, 101 E. Kansas St.; and the Liberty Community Center, 1600 S. Withers Road. Donations are accepted Monday to Friday, Dec. 2 to 6.

Donations should be unexpired, nonperishable foods and canned goods. Learn more about the Liberty Community Christmas Tree program and how to get involved at www.libertymissouri.gov/lcct.
