SMITHVILLE — Voters in the Smithville School District will have four names on the April ballot to choose from for school board.

Those running for the three, three-year terms are: incumbents Russel Fries and Denney Fales, as well as challengers Susan Whitacre and Scott Haggerty.

The three candidates with the most votes will be installed to the Board of Education. It is a nonpartisan race.

Details about the candidates will be featured in a future edition of the Courier-Tribune.
