St. James Catholic Church of Liberty

The congregation at St. James Catholic Church, 309 S. Stewart Road, will hold Novena, a nine-day devotion held one evening a week for nine weeks in the Resource Center, located in the former St. James business offices. The Novena was written by a Spanish priest, Roman DeVera, sometime between 1904 and 1920.

The devotion will be Saturdays at 6:15 p.m. Nov. 9, 16, 23, 30 and Dec. 7, 14, 21, and 28.

The date and time of the final devotion will be announced later. On Mondays in November, from 5 to 6 p.m., there will be reflections and meditations with Father Mike Roach and Patti Stark. There will be scripture, breathing and guided visualization.

Pleasant Valley Baptist Church of Liberty
