Grandfamilies conference coming Oct. 4

Grandparents who raise grandchildren or other family relatives can find resources at coming conference Oct. 4.

Registration is requested to be complete for the Greater KC Grandfamilies Conference by Monday, Sept. 23.

Northland Grandfamilies is a partnership with Clay County Extension and Clay County Senior Services to help older adults who are raising a grandchild or other relative. The Grandfamilies group helps provide support, information and resources.

This year’s Grandfamilies conference is Friday, Oct. 4, at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, 1600 N. Missouri Highway 291, Liberty. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. with workshops starting at 10 a.m. There will also be a keynote speaker during lunch.

Free lunch is provided with registration. Registration is open at www.GrandfamiliesKC.com.
