Holt assistant fire chief retires

Holt Community Fire Protection District Chief Robert Looper presents a commemorative axe to Assistant Chief James Martin, who retires after 15 years of service. "James has been an invaluable part of the service provided by Holt Community Fire Protection District. He has served as EMS director, quality assurance manager, assistant chief, CPR instructor, first responder instructor, driving instructor and several other roles," said Looper. "Jim earned his bachelor's degree in fire service management while working at Holt and is a certified fire officer 2 and fire instructor 2." Applications are open for a replacement.
