LIBERTY — Albeit a damp weekend, no rain was going to hold the masses back from attending the Liberty Fall Festival.

With thousands turning out Saturday, Sept. 28, the parade marched on. Additionally, there were more than 200 vendors, a slew of children activities and performances on the main stage that kept crowds entertained.

As storms rolled in both Friday and Saturday, the festival was closed early due to rain. Regardless, there were several hours where locals and those from the broader area were able to enjoy the festivities without getting wet.
