Radiant Life Church

The church will host a free United by Christ Women's Conference from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, at the church, 704 N. Jefferson St. Refreshments will served alongside a meet and greet with speakers from 1 to 2 p.m.

Precious Blood Renewal Center of Liberty

From 6:45 to 8:30 p.m., church visitors can learn about Bridges to Contemplative Living. Sessions are Feb. 13 and 27, March 12 and 26, April 16 and 30 and May 14 and 28. Liberty United Methodist Church

The Luther College Nordic Choir will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, at the Sunset Campus sanctuary, 1001 Sunset Ave., as part of the church’s Worship Through the Arts programming. The choir will also perform in the traditional worship services Sunday, Feb. 9.

LUMC offers Johnny’s Café on the second Saturday of each month in the Family Life Center at the Sunset Campus. It is a free, restaurant-style lunch served from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. to anyone in need.

Liberty Christian Church

Members of the congregation, located at 427 E. Kansas St., participate in a prayer shawl ministry. The group meets at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, to knit, crochet and learn how to help others.

At 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, the church membership will host Johnny’s Cafe, a ministry to share a meal and feed the hungry.

Grace Community Church of Smithville

First Christian Church of Smithville

Chi Rho at Tall Oaks will be Friday and Saturday, Feb. 7 and 8. The annual youth group retreat at Tall Oaks is Thursday to Saturday, Feb. 13 to 15.

A mom’s coffee and communion will be from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, at the church, 201 N. Bridge St. Guests can arrive alone or bring their children to be watched by older youth.

Money will be raised for a mission trip during a dinner from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Feb. 23 at the church. There will be a silent auction during the event. The church is currently collecting items for the silent auction.

First Baptist Church of Smithville

Food items are being collected to restock the community food pantry. Bridge Street Ministries needs canned fruit, Hamburger Helper and jelly. Items can be dropped off during services at the church, 300 S. Bridge St.
