The Historic Downtown Liberty Farmers Market runs from 8 a.m. to noon around Liberty Square.

While You Wait Northland Girl Scout Day is 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Martha Lafite Thompson Nature Sanctuary, 407 N La Frenz Road. Workshops include animal encounters and creek visits. Call 781-8598 to register or for more information. The Northland Woodcarvers exhibit and carve every second Saturday of each month at the sanctuary. Storytime with a naturalist will be at 1:30 p.m. and the animals at the center are fed at 3 p.m.

Liberty Small Business Connect, a small networking group, gathers every Tuesday from 8:15 to 9 a.m. at Big Biscuit, 840 Missouri Highway 291, Liberty. It is meant to connect small business owners in the area. For more information, call 698-6464.

A farmers market will take place at 7 a.m. to noon in the Feldman’s parking lot, 1332 W. Kansas St.

Liberty Small Business Network meets at 8:30 a.m. Wednesdays at Wicklunds CARSTAR, 941 Sutton Place. A different speaker is featured each week.

Storytime for preschoolers is 9:15, 10 and 10:45 a.m. at the Woodneath Library Center. At 6:30 p.m., there is a story swap that includes an open-mic storytelling night. At 6:30 p.m., the teens can participate in bad art night. Call 883-4900 to register for the last two programs.

Techy teens from Liberty North High School will be on hand at the school to help seniors from the Liberty Silver Center with their electronic devices. Seniors must have a photo identification to check in to the high school at 12:45 p.m. Call 439-4396 for more details.
