Monnie Ann Jackson, 77, of Liberty, MO, went to be with her Lord on April 15, 2020.

Monnie was born December 1, 1942, in East Liverpool, Ohio, the daughter of Van Smith Kenney and Addie Mae (Ankrom) Kenney. Monnie grew up in Chester, West Virginia, and was united in marriage to David Earl Jackson on July 10, 1959. They were blessed with four children. Monnie and David moved to Kansas City in 1963, and later to Liberty in 1977. Monnie was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ, for the past 40 years at Liberty. She also volunteered for the Liberty Hospital Auxiliary.

Along with her parents, Monnie was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters, including her twin sister. She leaves her husband of 60 years, David; children, Debbie Steenstry (Jon), Jeffrey Jackson (Cheryl), Donna Mathiasch (Bob) and Addie Trial (Justin); 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; as well as many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 18, at New Hope Cemetery in Liberty for family only. A celebration of Monnie's life will be held at the church at a later date for all family and friends.
