Monarch Butterfly

Monarch butterflies feed on flower nectar during late summer months across Missouri.

Recently listed as endangered by the International Union for the Conservation of Nature, the monarch is the only butterfly to make a two-way migration, according to the Missouri Department of Conservation.

Understanding the needs of the monarch and how each person can play a role in their conservation is critical.
