“Very blessed and excited to announce that I will be furthering my academic and baseball career at the University of Missouri,” he penned on Twitter. “Thanks to everybody that has helped me get here, especially family, friends and coaches/trainers. Excited for the future and ready to be a Tiger!”
Chester, a senior-to-be, is a three-year starter on the Eagles' infield.
Chester, who has also played on the Royals scout team, owns a .346 career batting average with four home runs, 67 RBI, 86 runs scored and 38 stolen bases as an Eagle.
