SMITHVILLE — Smithville soccer won its second straight game and fourth in six games with its 1-0 victory over Platte County Thursday, Oct. 15 at Platte County High School.
LIBERTY — Liberty soccer extended its winning streak to seven games as the Blue Jays defeated Lee’s Summit West 2-0 on Monday, Oct. 19.
SMITHVILLE — After Smithville soccer finished its own invitational tournament without a single goal, the Warriors fired away over its next two games as the team outscored its opponents 10-1.
LIBERTY — Liberty soccer won both its games this week as the team improved its record to 4-3 and 2-3 in the Suburban Gold conference play this season.
Liberty North soccer lost a 1-0 match against Blue Springs at home Wednesday, Sept. 23. The Eagles dropped their third straight match after opening the season with four straight wins.
KEARNEY — Kearney soccer ended a three-game losing streak and returned its record to .500 with a 4-1 victory on the road over Winnetonka on Thursday, Sept. 24.
LIBERTY — Liberty boys soccer lost to Park Hill 2-1 Monday, Sept. 14 at Liberty Middle School.
KEARNEY — Kearney boys soccer earned second place at the Excelsior Springs tournament. The Bulldogs reached the finals before falling short against Pleasant Hill 1-0 Saturday, Sept. 12 at Excelsior Springs High School.
SMITHVILLE — The Smithville Warriors boys soccer team is looking to improve on the 10-12-3 record from last year where they ran headlong into Platte County in the Class 3 District 16 championship last November.

LIBERTY — The Eagles boys soccer team improved to 3-0 this week after clinching the Harrisonville Shootout on Thursday, Sept. 3, at Harrisonville High School.
The Liberty boys soccer team beat Staley 5-0 in their season opener. Senior Alek Rottjakob scored two goals while sophomore Jaden Farrimond, sophomore Frank Fuentes and sophomore Joel Litten each picked up one. Senior Ty Ritchie recorded the shutout at goalie.
Smithville’s Liam Wolfe announced his commitment to play soccer at Metropolitan Community College Kansas City.
LIBERTY — Blue Jays senior midfielder player Brody Mueller announced his commitment to play soccer at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
KEARNEY — In its 29 years of existence, the Kearney boys soccer program has had a consistent voice at the helm. That voice is Bill Forman, who started the Bulldogs’ program in the fall of 1990.
KEARNEY — The Smithville Warriors’ season came to an end Wednesday, Nov. 6.
