LIBERTY — The William Jewell women's basketball team rallied from down as many as 11 in the opening half to defeat Indianapolis by a final of 63-58 to open the 2020-21 season.
LIBERTY — Liberty girls basketball outlasted Raymore-Peculiar 55-52 in a double-overtime thriller Thursday, Jan. 14 at Raymore-Peculiar High School. The Blue Jays won their fourth straight game to pull within one game of a .500 record.

KEARNEY — The Kearney girls swimming team won six events and landed in the top three of four more during the Ray-Pec Tri-meet Tuesday, Jan. 5, at Raymore-Peculiar High School. The Bulldogs finished second with 550 points, landing behind the host team’s 765 points and ahead of Smithville’s 159.
LIBERTY — The accolades continue to roll in for Liberty North’s undefeated state champion volleyball team as their freshman outside hitter finds herself ranked at the top of her recruiting class.
Missouri High School Volleyball Coaches Association released its all-state teams for the 2020 season and six area athletes received honors.
