Smithville boys wrestling finished fourth at the Missouri State High School Activities Association Boys Wrestling Championships this weekend with four medalists and one state champion. The Warriors scored 90 points, behind defending state champion Neosho’s 163.5, Lebanon’s 114 and Kearney’s 113.

LIBERTY — Jillian Fleming had a 12-point, 13-rebound double-double while Olivia Nelson had eight points and five steals and Mary Mason added seven points and three steals as the senior trio led the Blue Jays to a 38-10 win on senior night over Park Hill South at home Monday, Feb. 10.

Kearney and Smithville swimming and diving teams sent 12 competitors to the Missouri State High School Activities Association State Championships in St. Peters on Friday, Feb. 21 to Saturday, Feb. 22.
