LIBERTY — The Liberty North girls golf team faced challenging conditions at the Missouri State High School Activities Association Class 4 girls golf tournament, which had its first day canceled and scores thrown out due to weather.
SMITHVILLE — Junior Kali Brown and sophomore Marie Peach represented Smithville at the Missouri State High School Activities Association Class 2 girls golf tournament on Monday, Oct. 21 and Tuesday, Oct. 22 at Meadow Lake Acres Country Club in New Bloomfield.
KEARNEY — Kearney girls golf team finished seventh at the Missouri State High School Activities Association Class 3 girls golf tournament on Monday, Oct. 21 and Tuesday, Oct. 22 at Twin Hills Golf Course in Joplin.
LIBERTY — Liberty North freshman Bailey Burkett has had two cracks as postseason tournaments in her young high school golf career.
SMITHVILLE — Smithville’s Marie Peach and Kali Brown finished in the top 14 of the Missouri Class 2 District 4 tournament to advance to the state tournament on Monday, Oct. 12 at Excelsior Springs Golf Course.
KEARNEY — Kearney girls golf will compete for a team title at state this year after four of its golfers finished in the top 17 at the Missouri Class 3 District 4 girls golf tournament on Monday, Oct. 12.
LIBERTY — Liberty North girls golf won the Greater Kansas City Suburban Conference Gold Division on the strength of the performances of co-champions in junior Averi Mickelson and freshman Bailey Burkett.
KEARNEY — Kearney girls golf finished second at the Greater Kansas City Suburban Conference Blue Division. The Bulldogs shot 402 behind only the 359 shot by Platte County, who won the conference title for the fifth straight season.
LIBERTY — Liberty North girls golf finished first at the Tom Stout Invitational Monday at Paradise Pointe Golf Complex in Smithville.
KEARNEY — Liberty North girls golf defeated host team Kearney 207-169 during a dual Thursday at Excelsior Springs Golf Course.
LIBERTY — Liberty North girls golf finished second as a team at its Liberty North Invitational Monday at WinterStone Golf Course in Independence. The Eagles shot 336, 21 shots behind Notre Dame’s 315 to win the event.

KANSAS CITY — Liberty placed five individuals inside the top 10 to win the Suburban Red girls golf title. Liberty North’s Averi Mickelson claimed the individual title to lead the Eagles to a runner-up finish on Monday, Sept. 30, at Hodge Park Golf Course.
PLATTE CITY — The Kearney Bulldogs placed second and Smithville’s Mahlee Wohlford won medalist honors to pace the Warriors to a third-place finish at the Suburban Blue conference championships on Monday, Sept. 30, at Shiloh Springs Golf Course.
