Liberty's Abby Howard to golf at Drury

LIBERTY — Liberty golfer Abby Howard has announced her intentions to play at the Division II level.

Howard, a three-time all-stater, intends to play golf at Drury University in Springfield.

“I’m excited to announce I have officially signed to continue my academic and golf career at Drury University!” Howard posted to Twitter on Wednesday, Nov. 13. “Thanks to everyone that has helped me get to where I am now! And thank you to Coach Ball for giving me this opportunity!”

Howard is a three-time state golfer for the Blue Jays. She posted her best state finish this fall, placing 18th out of 88 state participants, while helping her team to a sectional berth.

Howard finished 19th her sophomore year and 51st as a junior.
