LIBERTY — The undefeated season rolls on for Liberty North after their latest victory against crosstown rival Liberty in the Class 4 District 8 Championship soccer game. The Eagles bested the Blue Jays 4-0 in a game that was controlled from start to finish.

SMITHVILLE — A firecracker of a goal exploded off of the foot of Smithville’s Abbey Crim on Thursday, April 28. The goal gave Smithville the 1-0 win over their conference rival Platte County.

LIBERTY — Harsh tackles were on the menu for Liberty North and Liberty’s soccer battle on Tuesday, April 19. The Eagles came away with the 4-0 win, but the game was much closer than the score indicated.

SMITHVILLE — A night of soccer in 70-degree weather is usually primed for perfect conditions, but that was not the case Tuesday, April 12. Smithville defeated Kearney 3-0 in wind gusts up to 30 miles per hour.

LIBERTY — One of the best teams in the state paid a visit to Liberty Tuesday, April 12. The Blue Jays faced off against Lee’s Summit West and the Titans came away with the 5-0 win.

KEARNEY — The Bulldogs earned the 15-0 win over Grandview on April 7. Kearney was able to use Mother Nature to their advantage. Kearney played with the wind as it helped against the visitors.
