LIBERTY — Liberty North soccer had not beaten Park Hill South this season, but did so 1-0 Monday, May 13, to move on to the class 4 district 15 title game.

In the two previous matchups this year, the Eagles lost 3-1 on April 1 and 1-0 on April 25. They finally broke through and bested the Panthers 1-0 to keep the season alive.

Next for the Eagles is a title game showdown with Liberty, another team they have yet to beat this year.

Liberty North is in the exact same situation as the first two games against Liberty as the team's games also ended in a 3-1 loss and a 1-0 loss. The championship game takes place Wednesday, May 15, at Liberty High School, 20 Bluejay Drive.
