Liberty's Kat Torrance commits to Mizzou soccer

Liberty's Kat Torrance goes for a ball in a game against Park Hill South this past spring. Torrance recently announced her commitment to the University of Missouri. 

LIBERTY — Liberty soccer player Kat Torrance has announced her intentions to play at the University of Missouri.

Torrance, a midfielder, made the announcement via Twitter on Oct. 16.

“I am extremely excited to announce that I am furthering my academic and soccer career at the University of Missouri,” she posted. “I would like to thank all my friends and most importantly my family and coaches for everything they have done for me. Happy to be a tiger!”

Torrance was a first team all-state selection after helping the Blue Jays’ to a Class 4 state championship last spring.
