INDIANAPOLIS — Gloria Hanrahan, a Northwest Missouri State University student, receives the Alpha Sigma Alpha’s Outstanding Athlete Award. This award recognizes an undergraduate member who exemplifies the sorority’s physical aim by representing her college or university as a member of an intercollegiate athletic team. The recipient demonstrates sportsmanship, athletic ability, leadership and teamwork while being actively engaged in Alpha Sigma Alpha.

Hanrahan is a member of the university’s varsity soccer team. She has received recognition as a left defender on the team and received athletic academic honors recognition for the past three semesters.

Hanrahan serves Alpha Sigma Alpha as Phi Phi collegiate service and giving chairman.

She is involved in the Pre-Health Occupations Club, National Society of Leadership and Success and Tri-Beta Biological Sciences Honor Society.
