Smithville's Carr helps Missouri continue win streak over Kansas in softball all-star game

SMITHVILLE — Smithville outgoing senior pitcher Makaela Carr helped Missouri sweep Kansas in the 18th annual Kansas vs. Missouri All-Star Series Monday, June 7, at Shawnee Mission School District Softball Complex in Shawnee, Kansas.

Carr started on the mound during the second game where Missouri won 7-6. The team also took a 6-5 victory in the earlier game as both games ended in dramatic fashion. Carr also played at shortstop for a team that earned a six-run comeback in the second game.
