PLATTE CITY — After getting blanked in the first meeting of the season, Smithville took Platte County down to the wire Friday, Nov. 8, in the Class 4 District 8 semifinal round.

GLADSTONE — Fairly early in the season, it was quite clear that Park Hill South could be the runaway favorite for the Suburban Red boys swim title.
LIBERTY — The Liberty Blue Jays boys soccer team took the Park Hill South Panthers to penalty kicks in a tense Class 4 District 15 title match on Thursday, Nov. 7 at the Crossley Family Activity Center at Liberty North.
KEARNEY — In its 29 years of existence, the Kearney boys soccer program has had a consistent voice at the helm. That voice is Bill Forman, who started the Bulldogs’ program in the fall of 1990.
KEARNEY — Kearney’s boys soccer season and the coaching career of Bill Forman came to an end in a district opening round match on Monday, Nov. 4.
LIBERTY — Noah Senthavy secured a hat trick with a golden goal in the 95th minute to lift Liberty to a 3-2 victory over North Kansas City in a Class 4 District 15 semifinal contest Tuesday, Nov. 5, at the Crossley Family Activity Complex.
COLUMBIA — In a day of eye-popping times, Liberty’s boys and girls teams, Liberty North’s girls squad and individuals from Kearney experienced the first MSHSAA championships raced conducted at the Gans Creek Recreation Area on Saturday, Nov. 9.
PLATTE CITY — Smithville’s boys and girls cross country teams swept the district meet for a fourth straight season on Saturday, Nov. 2, at Platte Ridge Park.
CAPE GIRARDEAU — In just their second appearance in the final four of the state tournament, the Liberty Blue Jays made the most of their opportunity to place well.
CAPE GIRARDEAU — In only its second state final four appearance, Liberty volleyball took third at the MSHSAA championships on Saturday, Nov. 9, inside the Show Me Center.
