LIBERTY — Liberty North track and field begins their new season this week. Last year, the boys team finished in third place in the Class 5 State Championship and the girls squad took 21st. Many of the athletes from last year return for the Eagles.

Liberty concluded its track season in the Class 5 State Championship in Jefferson City on Saturday, May 28. The Blue Jays finished in 10th place on the boys side with 20 points while the girls ended in 12th place. The girls squad tallied 26 total points as they placed in four events.

LIBERTY — The boys and girls teams for Liberty North finished the Suburban Conference Gold Division Championship in the same place, fourth place on Friday, May 6. The boys team finished the day with 103.33 points while the girls team ended with 92.

LIBERTY — The Blue Jays hosted the Suburban Conference Gold Division Championship on Friday, May 6. The boys team for Liberty earned second place with 110 points, which was only 20 points shy of first place. The girls team earned fifth place with 91 points.

LIBERTY — At their home meet, Liberty North looked comfortable and loose in all of their events on a windy evening. On Friday, April 22, the Eagles won the team title on the girl’s side with 150 points while the boys team ended in second place with 164 points, 10 points shy of Lee’s Summit.
