A fond farewell

Emmanuel Bible Church of Smithville put together a parade of families in their cars Wednesday, April 1 to say goodbye to Jim Taylor. He is in his late 80s and has lived in Smithville for 48 years but is moving to an assisted living center close to one of his daughters in Oklahoma this weekend. Because of social distancing, the church members could not throw a party but instead had to say goodbye from family cars.
