KEARNEY — Smithville boys basketball put together its best week of the season so far in the Kearney Classic, held Monday through Friday, Jan. 13 through 17.

Kearney girls swimming and diving took its next step toward the postseason with the KC Classic Friday and Saturday, Jan. 17 and 18, in Gladstone Community Center.

KANSAS CITY — Smithville’s wrestling teams put together a great weekend in a pair of tournaments.

KEARNEY — After a tough start to the week, Liberty girls basketball finished the Kearney Classic, held Monday through Friday, Jan. 13 through 17, with two-straight wins.

LIBERTY — Multiple athletes in the class of 2025 have built successful careers at Liberty High School and now earning the chance to compete at the next level.

Smithville girls swimming and diving gained plenty of experience as it competed in the KC Classic Friday and Saturday, Jan. 17 and 18, in Gladstone Community Center.

KANSAS CITY — Liberty North’s wrestling teams gained plenty of experience with a pair of solid performances in the Greater Kansas City Suburban Conference Tournament Saturday, Jan. 18, at Staley High School.

KEARNEY — The week came to an end on a good note as Kearney girls basketball earned seventh place in the Kearney Classic, held Monday through Friday, Jan. 13 through 17.
