LIBERTY — A collection of nature-inspired art is in the exhibition space at Martha Lafite Thompson Nature Sanctuary, 407 N. La Frenz Road. The beauty of nature expressed in many art forms is part of the “Bridging Art & Nature” exhibit.

LIBERTY — Launched in 1982 in France as the Fête de la Musique, it is now held on the same day in more than 1,000 cities in 120 countries.

LIBERTY — The Liberty Police Department will begin using Central Square Corporation for the management of its alarm permitting and billing with a program called CryWolf to track and process false alarms.

CLAY COUNTY — The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting nightly lane closures for resurfacing operations on eastbound and westbound Missouri Highway 152 from Interstate 29 to Antioch Road beginning around Monday, March 17 with the work continuing through September. Work will take place between 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. All work is weather permitting.

The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting bridge repair operations on northbound U.S. Highway 169 and Cookingham Drive through Monday, March 31. This timeline has been extended. All work is weather permitting.
