LIBERTY — The 43rd annual GRIPeq Kansas City Wide Open Tournament returned to the Northland for the first half of its competition Friday through Sunday, April 18 through 20, in Stocksdale Park.

The local area’s track and field teams gained plenty of experience over the weekend as they traveled across state lines to compete in the Kansas University Relays Friday and Saturday, April 18 and 19.
