As Missourians prepare to celebrate Independence Day, the Missouri State Highway Patrol is urging residents and visitors to make safety a top priority — whether they’re hitting the road, heading to the water, or hosting backyard gatherings.
CLAY COUNTY — Clay County Sheriff’s Office Public Relations Manager Sarah Boyd shared that a scammer is pretending to be one of the deputies and is calling “lots of of Clay County residents today, Wednesday, June 25, leaving messages and asking them to call the phone number of 816-200-0795.”
