The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting bridge repair operations on northbound U.S. Highway 169 and Cookingham Drive through Monday, March 31. This timeline has been extended. All work is weather permitting.

LIBERTY — The Liberty Police Department will host tours of the current Police facility located at Liberty City Hall. from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 19 and March 26, with the last tour beginning at 6:30 p.m. Tours will be offered every 30 minutes. These will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis and will be limited to 20 people per tour.

KEARNEY — On Saturday, March 8, officers from the Kearney Police Criminal Investigations Unit and Patrol Division received a tip about a group of juveniles planning a string of burglaries in the area, according to a Facebook post.

CLAY COUNTY — Permit work for utility operations will require a flagging operation on Missouri Highway 92 from Mount Olivet Road to Missouri Route A starting on Wednesday, March 5 until Friday, April 18.

LIBERTY— Johnny J. Peguero-Taveras of Stilwell, Kansas is charged with felony fleeing from a stop and felony tampering with a motor vehicle after Clay County Sheriff’s deputies pursued a reportedly stolen vehicle on U.S. Highway 69 in Mosby Friday, March 1.
