Missouri is home to roughly 450 different bee species, ranging in size from a grain of rice to about half the size of your thumb, and they each play an important role, according to the Missouri Department of Conservation and naturalist Anna Nordwald.

CLAY COUNTY — Bridget Mendoza with the Clay County Economic Development Council is wearing a different hat on behalf of the Northland Workforce Development Center. She is serving as a contractor, helping with gifts and grant development.
