LIBERTY — Euxandre Leon, 32, Kansas City, was arrested Feb. 26, and is charged with felony trafficking drugs in the second degree, possession of a controlled substance, tampering with a motor vehicle and unlawful use of a weapon, according to Clay County Prosecutor’s Office.

Jackson County Legislator Manny Abarca organized a rally there before the dinner rush. The rally was to support the Latino and immigrant families in Liberty and elsewhere in Clay County after last Friday’s raid by Homeland Security agents.
