LIBERTY — Euxandre Leon, 32, Kansas City, was arrested Feb. 26, and is charged with felony trafficking drugs in the second degree, possession of a controlled substance, tampering with a motor vehicle and unlawful use of a weapon, according to Clay County Prosecutor’s Office.

LIBERTY — The bar area at El Potro Mexican Cafe, 116 Stewart Court, was full Valentine’s evening, but not just for diners seeking a special dinner. Jackson County Legislator Manny Abarca organized a rally there before the dinner rush.
