SMITHVILLE — Eagle Heights Elementary art teacher Andrea Aeschliman has been named Missouri Art Education Association’s 2025 Elementary Art Educator of the Year. The award is based on standards set by the National Art Education Association, contributions to the Missouri Art Education Association and the impact art education has on the school and community.
